The Cabinet approved a ten- storied modern building to boost academic and welfare facilities of the Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies, University of Kelaniya. The three-year construction project will commence in 2020.

The proposed building will be fully based on green construction architectural designs and green construction standards. This contains an underground car park, lecture theaters, scale-up halls and modern laboratories.
