The Faculty of Computing and Technology (FCT) at the University of Kelaniya hosted its Freshers’ Career Week from the 17^th to the 24^th of September 2023 at the FCT premises.

The event aimed at orienting and empowering 250 incoming undergraduates from various degree programs including B.Sc., BICT, and BET. The week-long event focused on familiarizing the students with the IT and Engineering industries, enlightening them about career prospects, and imparting essential professional skills.

The sessions were conducted by the representatives of the leading industries in Sri Lanka, including, Path finder Career Consultancy Service Pvt Ltd, OREL Corporation (Pvt) Ltd., Michelin Loadstar, CBC Tech Solutions Ltd., Multiplier, MAS (Silueta) Pvt. Ltd., Susen Holdings, Studyway.lk, SLINTEC, Epic Technologies, OdloVFX, MAS Innovation Private Limited, and IFS Corporate.

FCT extends its gratitude to all participating organizations and experts whose contributions made this event possible. Their shared knowledge and expertise have undoubtedly set the freshers on the right path for a successful academic and professional journey.
