Glorious Sun Charity Foundation Sponsors Scholarships for Pali and Buddhist Studies Students

The Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies at the University of Kelaniya successfully hosted its 2024 scholarship program, generously sponsored by the Glorious Sun Charity Foundation, on the 3rd of January 2025 at the Dharmaloka Hall, University of Kelaniya.
This marked the 12th round of Scholarship Awarding, providing substantial financial support to 352 deserving students.
The event was graced by Dr. Sudath Senarath, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities; Senior Professor Ven. Makuruppe Dhammananda Thero, Head of the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies; Chair Professor Ven. Nabirittankadawara Gnanaratana Thero; Senior Professor Ven. Naotunne Wimalagnana Thero, Mr. K. K. K. Dharmathilake, Registrar; and other esteemed members of the academic staff.
