The inauguration ceremony for the second batch of the Diploma in Vastu, the fourth batch of the Diploma in Sanskrit, the eleventh batch of the Certificate Course in Astrology, and the fourth batch of the Advanced Certificate Course in Yoga Philosophy, offered by the Department of Sanskrit and Eastern Studies, University of Kelaniya, was held on the 1^st of March 2025, at the Sri Dharmaloka Hall.

The event also featured the certificate awarding ceremony for the ninth batch of the Certificate Course in Astrology, the second batch of the Advanced Certificate Course in Yoga Philosophy, and the Certificate Course in Vastu.

The event was held under the precedence of Dr. Sudath Senarath, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities. The guest lecture of the event was delivered by Dr. W. S. M. Wimalasooriya. The event was also graced by the presence of Senior Professor Most Ven. Induragare Dhammaratana Thero along with the academic staff of the Department of Sanskrit and Eastern Studies, University of Kelaniya.
