“Tha 2025” cultural show, organised by the Performing Arts Students’ Association of the Department of Fine Arts, University of Kelaniya, was held on the 5^th of March 2025 at the Sri Dharmaloka Hall, University of Kelaniya.

This event primarily aimed at enhancing the performing skills of the students.

This year’s theme, “Intangible Heritage,” highlighted the depth and diversity of Sri Lanka’s dance traditions. “Tha 2025” featured a fusion of Kandyan, Low Country, and Sabaragamuwa dance styles, along with village dances and drumming.

The event was graced by the presence of Senior Professor Sudath R. D. Kaingamudali, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Professor M. M. Gunatilake, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences; Dr. Sudath Senarath, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities; Senior Lecturer Lanka de Silva, Head of the Department of Fine Arts, along with the academic and non-academic staff members and students of other department; and the academic and non-academic staff members and students of the other departments of the university.
