The launch of Prabhā Vol. 07, the academic journal of the Temporary Assistant Lecturers of the Faculty of Humanities, University of Kelaniya, organized by the Staff Development Unit of the Faculty of Humanities, was successfully held on 04 June 2026 at the K14 Auditorium.

During the event, certificates were awarded to the Temporary Assistant Lecturers who successfully completed the Faculty of Humanities Staff  Development Programme.

The event was held with the objective of enhancing the research skills of the Temporary Assistant lectures of the Faculty of Humanities.

Dr Sudath Senarath, former Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, graced the event as the chief guest, while it was also attended by Dr Ven. Dewagoda Piyarathana Thero, Coordinator of the Staff Development Unit, Faculty of Humanities, along with academic staff members of the Faculty.
