The Annual General Meeting of University Librarians’ Association (ULA) of Sri Lanka was held on the 21st of September at the Board Room of the Faculty of Humanities, University of Kelaniya. The annual journal of ULA was also lunched at the meeting which was held with the objective of appointing new members for the association.

Moreover, Ms. T. Arunalandi, a retired Librarian from the Eastern University received awards at the meeting for the appreciation of her service.

Senior Lecturer Dr. Gamini Wijerathne, Dean- Faculty of Computing and Technology, Prof. Patrick Rathnayake, Dean- Faculty of Humanities, Dr. Nayana Wijesundara, Chairman- University Librarians’ Association of Sri Lanka, Dr. Manoja Samaradiwakara, Secretary- University Librarians’ Association of Sri Lanka, Mrs. Chithra Abeygunasekara, Acting Librarian- University of Kelaniya and academic staff members of the library graced the event.
