The 03^rd International Studies Students' Research Symposium 2019 (ISSRS) organized by the Department of International Studies together with the Student's Association of International Studies was held on 08^th of January 2020.

Meanwhile, the abstract book consisted of 41 abstracts covering the areas like foreign policy, diplomacy, international organizations, contemporary issues and etc. The main motive of the initiative was to broaden the research culture of undergraduates in the field of International Relations.

Moreover, Prof. D.M. Semasinghe, Vice- Chancellor, University of Kelaniya graced the event as the chief guest while, the keynote speech was delivered by Dr. Harendra Vidanage, the Director of RCSS. Other honorable guests present at the occasion were Senior Prof. Lakshman Senevirathne, Deputy Vice- Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, Prof. M.M. Gunathilake, Dean- Faculty of Social Sciences, Cadre Chair & Senior Prof. N.P. Sunil- Chandra- Chairman, Research Council.  

The academic staff members and the undergraduates of the Department of International Studies participated in the occasion.
