Associate Prof. Kazutaka Shimizu from the Department of Cinema, College of Arts at Nihon University recently visited Department of Drama & Theatre and Image Arts, Faculty of Humanities, University of Kelaniya on 29^th of January, 2020 and conducted a workshop about curriculum development. 

Associate Prof. Kazutaka Shimizu met the Vice- Chancellor, Prof. D.M. Semasinghe on the 29^th of January 2020 at the Vice- Chancellor’s Office.

Moreover, the main objective of the event was to held a discussion about an MOU regarding student and academic staff exchange program with Nihon University.

The event was organized by the Department of Drama & Theater and Image Arts of the University of Kelaniya. 

Further, Prof. Patrick Rathnayake, Dean- Faculty of Humanities, Senior Lecturer Dr. A.G. Amarasinghe, Head- Department of Geography, Senior Lecturer Priyankara Rathnayake, Head- Drama & Theater and Image Art Unit, Senior Lecturer Mr Chandrasiri Bogamuwa, Senior lecturer Upul Jayantha Ranepura, Senior lecturer Tharupathi Munasinghe were also present at the event. 

Also, the academic staff members of Department of Drama, Theater and Image Arts also took part in the event.
