“Rasi:li: Sandhya:” ; an evening of Hindi songs organized by the Hindi Parishad of the Department of Hindi Studies was held on 09^th of January 2020 at Sri Dharmaloka Hall.

The intention of the event was to appraise a collection of celebrated Hindi movie songs. Meanwhile, Champa Kalhari and Mahesha Sandamali joined the students of the Hindi Parishad as voice artists. Orchestra was played by Milinda Tennakone and students.

Moreover, Prof. D.M. Semasinghe, Vice - Chancellor, University of Kelaniya graced the event as the chief guest while other honorable guests present at the occasion were Senior Professor Lakshman Senevirathne, Deputy Vice – Chancellor, Prof. Patrick Ratnayake, Dean- Faculty of Humanities, Senior Lecturer Anusha Salwathura, Head- Department of Hindi Studies.

The general public along with academic staff and undergraduates participated in the event.
