University of Kelaniya Faculty of Medicine Ranked Top 800 – 1000 in the World

The Times Higher Education (THE) has ranked the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, in the top 800 – 1000 medical schools in the world in 2023. This is a significant achievement for the faculty, which is one of the only three Sri Lankan medical schools included in the list.
THE World University Rankings is the only global university league table to judge research-intensive universities across all their core missions: teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook. It uses 18 carefully calibrated performance indicators to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons.
