The Moscow State University of Sports and Tourism signs an MoU with the University of Kelaniya and two other universities in Sri Lanka

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Moscow State University of Sports and Tourism, the University of Kelaniya, the Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine, and the University of Sri Jayewardenepura on the 21st of June 2022.

The event was held online, in the boardroom of the Faculty of Science of the University of Kelaniya, hosted by the Faculty of Science.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Janitha A. Liyanage, H. E. the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russia, the chief guest of the event, and Ms. Natalya Masyagina, Rector, Moscow State University of Sports and Tourism. The event was graced with the presence of Prof. Nilanthi De Silva, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jayewardenepura, Prof. Ranjana V. Seneviratne, Vice-Chancellor of the Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine, Ms. Larissa Glotova, Director of the Institute for Additional Vocational Education and Career Development/ Moscow State University of Sports and Tourism, Prof. Sudath kalngamudali,  Dean of the Faculty of Science of the University of Kelaniya, and Dr. Aruna Wanninayaka, Head of the Sports and Exercise Unit of the University of Kelaniya.
