A delegation from the Centre for Environment Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas) visited the University of Kelaniya on the 29th of November 2023.

The delegation, represented by Dr. Charlotte Revee and Mr. Dave Sivyer, engaged in discussions with Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya to explore opportunities for further collaboration and expand research funding. Professor D. S. M. de Silva, who is the recipient of several Cefas grants to evaluate microplastic contamination in local water bodies, was also present at the occasion.
