The inauguration ceremony of MSc in Crop Protection and Plant Biotechnology offered by the Department of Plant & Molecular Biology of the Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya was held on the 03^rd of August 2019 at the Board Room of the Faculty of Science.

Present at the occasion were Prof. Bimali Jayawardena, Dean- Faculty of Science, Prof. Ariyarathne Jayamaha, Dean- Faculty of Graduate Studies, Senior Lecturer Dr. Sagarika Kannangara, Head- Department of Plant & Molecular Biology, academic staff members of the department and newly enrolled students.
