The Inaugural Ceremony of 2021 intake of Diploma in Mass Communication, Diploma in Public Relations & Media Management and Higher Diploma in Communication & Public Relations offered by the Department of Mass Communication was held on the 14^th of March 2021 via Zoom.

Prof. M.M. Gunathilaka, Dean- Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya was the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony. The keynote speech was delivered by DIG Ajith Rohana, Police Spokesman- Sri Lanka Police.

Senior Lecturer Wijayananda Rupasinghe, Acting Head- Department of Mass Communication, academic staff members of Department of Mass Communication & newly enrolled students also attended the event via Zoom.
