A Discussion Held for Giribawa Pabalugala Archaeological Reserve

The Archaeological Survey of the Giribawa Pabalugala Archaeological Reserve, which is being implemented by the Research Associate of the Commission for Archaeology of Non-European Cultures (KAAK) in Bonn, the Department of Archeology Sri Lanka, the CNRS Laboratory AOROC, and the CNRS Laboratory, TRAJECTOIRES, UMR 8215 in collaboration with Centre for Heritage Studies of the University of Kelaniya, is scheduled to be commenced on 7th of February 2022.

A discussion with Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya was held on the 2nd of February 2022 at the University premises. The purpose of this discussion was to improve the mutual understanding between the University of Kelaniya and (KAAK) Bonn who are working together in this collaborative project of Pabalugala. Dr. Mangala Katugampola, the Director of the Centre for Heritage Studies, and Dr. Ariane de Saxcé of the Commission for Archaeology of Non-European Cultures (KAAK), Bonn participated in this discussion.
