A discussion on the film ‘Alborada’ was held successfully on the 25th of October 2022 at the Social Science Faculty Auditorium, University of Kelaniya.

The discussion was followed by the screening of the film which took place on the 17^th of October 2022. The event was organized by the Department of Mass Communication of the University of Kelaniya.

Dr. Mahesh Hapugoda, Dr.Nimmi Nalika, Mr.Malcom Machado, Mr.Saman Wickckramarachchi, Mr. Channa Deshapriya (DOP of the film), and Mr. Bimal Dushmantha (Production Designer of the film) were present at the event as discussion panelists while the director of the film Mr. Asoka Handagama jonied the discussion via zoom. Senior Lecturer Samanthika Priyadarshani moderated the discussion. Moreover, the academic staff and undergraduates of the Department of Mass Communication were present at the discussion.
