A lecture on "Women Representation & Feminist Movement" jointly organized by the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya and Savisthree National Organization was held on the 07^th of March 2019 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

The lecture was conducted with the objective of enhancing the knowledge of the Political Science students about the representation of women.

The lectures were conducted by the members of Savisthree National Organization: Ms. Padma Pushpakanthi, Ms. Geethika Samarasinghe and Ms. Rohini Weerasinghe. Present at the occasion were Senior Lecturer Yamuna Mendis, Head- Department of Political Science, academic staff members of the Department of Political Science and the undergraduates.
