A guest lecture on Islamic Fundamentalism in Sri Lanka organized by the Department of Political Science of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya was held on the 04^th of July 2019 at the auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

It was organized with the objective of enhancing the knowledge of the students regarding ‘Islamic Fundamentalism’.

The lecture was conducted by Senior Lecture Sumith Chaminda, Department of Political Science, University of Colombo. Present at the occasion were Senior Lecturer Yamuna Mendis, Head- Department of Political Science, academic staff members of the Department of Political Science and undergraduates.
