Mr. W.M.N.N.M. Wijesinghe, a student at the University of Kelaniya has achieved the bronze medal in the weightlifting event of the SLUG 2023 held from 1^st to 10^th September 2023

at the Eastern University, Sri Lanka.

Wijesinghe’s performance includes 27kg Snatch, 42kg Clean & Jerk 
and she lifted a total of 69kg.
