Ms. Malshi Suraweera, a dedicated third-year undergraduate of the Faculty of Science of the University of Kelaniya, has demonstrated exceptional talent in Taekwondo, earning accolades at the national level.

Malshi secured 2^nd place in the 62-67kg weight category at the 48^th National Sports Games 2024, which was held on the 2^nd of June 2024, at the Jayathilaka Sports Complex, Nawalapitiya. This outstanding performance was a testament to her skill and commitment to the sport.

Continuing her impressive streak, Malshi also competed in the National Kyorugi Taekwondo Championship 2024, which was held on the 20^th and 21^st of May 2024, at the Hostel Complex Gymnasium of the Ministry of Sports. In this highly competitive event, she earned 3^rd place in the 67-73kg weight category.
