The University of Kelaniya Women’s Badminton Team emerged Champions in the University Women’s Category at the BattleField 2025 – Peradeniya Badminton Challenge, organized by the Pera Students' Badminton Society of the University of Peradeniya. The tournament was held on 28^th & 29^th June 20205 at the University of Peradeniya.

During the tournament, the University of Ruhuna won the 1st Runner-up position, while the University of Peradeniya claimed the 2nd Runner-up position.
