Vinura Gamage, a 4th-year undergraduate of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya, and Captain of the Men’s Table Tennis Team (2022/2023), emerged as the Champion in the Intermediate Men’s Singles category at the All Island Intermediate/Novices Men’s & Women’s, Novices Age Group Boys & Girls Table Tennis Championship 2025, conducted by the North Western Province Table Tennis Association.

 The Championship was held on 7th June 2025 at the Municipal Council Indoor Stadium, Kurunegala, and brought together skilled players from all over the country.
