Karate Players of University of Kelaniya Selected for the National High Performance Karate Pool

Two Karate Players of University of Kelaniya have been selected for the National High Performance Karate Pool at the National Karate Selection Trial by the Sri Lanka Karate-do Federation.
D. T. Dimantha Jayasinghe, Captain- Karate Men Team, a final year student of Faculty of Social Sciences and, H. M. Lasini V. Amunugama Vice-Captain- Karate Women Team, a second-year student of Faculty of Science are the karate players who have been selected for the High Performance Karate Pool in Kata.
National Karate Selection Trial by the Sri Lanka Karate-do Federation was held on 13th and 14th of February, 2021 at the Indoor Stadium, Ministry of Sports, Torrington. It was conducted to select high-performing karate players to represent Sri Lanka in International Championships from 2021 to 2026. H. M. Sisira Kumara, President- Sri Lanka Karate-do Federation graced the event as the chief guest along with other officials of the Sri Lanka Karate-do Federation.
