Senior Lecturer Dr. Namali Suraweera, Former Head- Department of Library and Information Science assumed duties as the Director of the Inter-Faculty Center for Coordinating the Modular Systems (ICCMS) on 15^th of November 2021. 

Dr. Namali Suraweera completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree and Master of Social Sciences in Library and Information Science in University of Kelaniya. She earned her PhD in Information Management in 2015 from School of Information Management in Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. She has over 17 years of contribution to the profession and research. She has also served as a lecturer in E-Learning and as a Contact for Academic Technologies (CAT) in Centre for Academic Development (CAD) in Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. She qualified for the title “Digital Teaching and Learning Technologist” by successfully completing a course at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
