Best Speaker 2021 organized by the University of Kelaniya Gavel Club marked its magnificent finale on the 28^th of November 2021 at National Library Auditorium.

It was held as a virtual extravaganza with the patronage of the honourable Chief Guest Cadre Chair & Senior Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, Vice Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya and other esteemed guests.

Hasitha Perera from University of Jaffna emerged victorious earning all three titles 'Best Speaker 2021', 'Best Prepared Speaker', 'Best Impromptu Speaker and the ultimate winner of the contest. Shehan Paul and Selani Indrapala both from the University of Moratuwa secured the First Runner Up and Second Runner Up titles respectively.

The contest was further accessorized by the launch of the 05^th edition of the Best Speaker Magazine that evinces the different aptitudes of the Gaveliers of University of Kelaniya Gavel Club.
