The official website of the University of Kelaniya won awards for overall silver winner & gold winner for best Universities & Educational website of Bestweb LK 2021' 

The competition was organized by Bestweb. lk in 11th intake. LK Domain Registry conducts BestWeb.lk competition annually since 2009 and this is the tenth time it is being conducted. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, this year physical ceremony is not conducted. Prof. Gihan Dias handed over the trophies to Dr. Nalin Wanajith (Webmaster) and Mr. Dinuka Kannangara (Assistant Web Manager) at the LK Domain Registry office premises.

The winning team called upon Cadre Chair & Senior Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-chancellor, the University of Kelaniya on the 10th of January 2021 at the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.

The competition focused on technical excellence, creativity, graphic design, and content quality. This year, the gold medal was won by Axiata Digital Lab.
