Erasmus+ Academic Staff Mobility from University of Porto, Portugal

Professor Fátima Marinho, Director of Doctoral Studies in Literary, Cultural and Interact Studies, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Porto, Portugal visited Sri Lanka on Academic Staff Mobility under the Erasmus+ Merging Voices Project.
Prof. Marinho briefly called upon Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, the Vice-Chancellor, during her visit to the university on 11th January adhering to Covid-19 guidelines. Present at the occasion was Senior Professor Neelakshi C. Premawardhena, the Director, Centre for International Affairs.
Prof. Marinho conducted lectures online for students of BA Honours in French at the Department of Modern Languages, Faculty of Humanities. She also conducted a presentation in English for interested staff and students on “A Journey through Portugal, Language, and Culture”.
