The University of Kelaniya represents United Nations National Volunteer Summit-2022

The National Volunteer Summit 2022 was held on the 05th of December 2022 at Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall in celebration of International Volunteer Day.
It was organized by the United Nations Volunteers under the theme ‘Solidarity through Volunteering’ with the hashtag #TogetherActNow.
The summit presented the Colombo Declaration which consisted of the important areas discussed and the recommendations received. Dinura Liyanage, Akshana Wickramasinghe, and Nisal Damsara Nanayakkara of the Faculties of Commerce and Financial Management, and Yenuli Amaratunga and Hiruni Udumulla Arachchi of the Faculty of Humanities participated at the summit, representing the University of Kelaniya. Moreover, volunteers from the whole nation representing their respective organizations, universities, clubs, and societies joined together on this occasion to celebrate International Volunteer Day.
