The German novelist Christopher Kloeble visited the university on 13th December 2022 for a reading from his book "Das Museum der Welt" (The Museum of the World).

The visit was coordinated by the Goethe Institute-Sri Lanka and the Centre for International Affairs of the University of Kelaniya. 

The staff and students of the BA Honours Degree of the German Section of the Department of Modern Languages attended the book reading and took part in the discussion held in German. Ms. Marie Waarlo, the Librarian of the Goethe Institute-Sri Lanka also attended the event.
