Anudi Gunasekara, a 24-year-old final year undergraduate from the Department of International Studies of the University of Kelaniya, was crowned Siyatha Miss World Sri Lanka 2024. The prestigious event, Siyatha BIC Twin Lady Miss World Sri Lanka 2024, was held on the 29^th of July 2024, at the Hilton Grand Ballroom in Colombo. Anudi will be proudly representing Sri Lanka at the 72^nd Miss World Festival next year.

Anudi's achievement extends beyond her academic and pageant pursuits. She is the founder of ‘Saheli,’ a non-profit organization dedicated to combating period poverty in Sri Lanka.

Her accomplishment as Siyatha Miss World Sri Lanka 2024 brings pride to the University of Kelaniya, highlighting the diverse talents and social contributions of its undergraduates.
