The new official website of the University of Kelaniya was launched on the 04^th of January 2018 at the Office of the Vice- Chancellor.

The event was held under the patronage of the Vice- Chancellor, Prof. D.M. Semasinghe. Present at the occasion were Senior Prof. Lakshman Senevirathne, Deputy Vice- Chancellor, Senior Lecturer Dr. Dhammika Weerasinghe, Director- Information & Communication Technology Centre, academic staff members and staff members of the Information & Communication Technology Centre.
