A discussion between the University of Kelaniya and the SAARC Cultural Centre was held on the 09^th of January 2019 at the Office of the Vice- Chancellor. The discussion was held regarding the art exhibition, workshop & lecture series jointly organized by the University of Kelaniya & the SAARC Cultural Centre and which is to be held on the 22^nd, 23^rd & 24^th of January 2019 at the University premises.

Prof. D.M. Semasinghe, Vice- Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya and Ms. Renuka Ekanayake, Director- SAARC Cultural Centre led the discussion. Present at the occasion were Prof. Patrick Rathnayake, Dean- Faculty of Humanities, Ven. Dr. Kapugollewe Anandakiththi Thero, Chief Student Counsellor, Prof. Anura Manathunga, Director- Centre for Heritage Studies, Dr. Prashanthi Narangoda, Head- Department of Fine Arts, Senior Lecturer Noel Wijayarathna, Senior Student Counsellor- Faculty of Humanities, Ms. Krishani Wijesinghe, Director (Programmes)- SAARC Cultural Centre, Mr. Keerthi Gunathilake and the representatives from the University of Kelaniya and SAARC Cultural Centre.

The discussion was coordinated by the Centre for Heritage Studies, University of Kelaniya.
