An IEEE distinguished lecture on Deep Learning jointly organized by the IEEE Student Branch, University of Kelaniya and the IEEE Sri Lanka Section was held on the 09^th of May 2019 at the Faculty of Computing and Technology, Peliyagoda.

Prof. Saman K. Halgamuge, Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Electrical, Mechanical and Infrastructure Engineering, University of Melbourne conducted the lecture. The event was attended by staff and students of Faculty of Computing and Technology and the Faculty of Science.
