University of Kelaniya is already a University Affiliation Program participant for B.B.Mgt Special Degree in Finance and it is the first in Sri Lanka to be accepted into CFA Institute University Affiliation Program.

Marking another milestone for the Department of Finance, the B.B.Mgt Honours in Financial Engineering program has also been welcomed into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program.

Furthermore, this affiliated degree program has been acknowledged as incorporating a significant portion of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) topics, including ethics. The Current intake for this degree program is 50 students and by participating in this program, students are eligible to receive a limited number of scholarships towards pursuing CFA Program each fiscal year. At present, this is the only undergraduate Financial Engineering degree program to receive this status in Sri Lanka and the second undergraduate Financial Engineering degree program in the world to receive this status.
