A special discussion on street art and graffiti art was held on 18^th of December, 2019 at Prof. Kotahena Sri Pragnakeerthi Thero Memorial Hall.

It was jointly organized by Alternative Researchers' Association of University of Kelaniya and Unknown Collective. 

Mr. Prageeth Aluthwatta and Mr. Bandu Manamperi were the speakers for the day while Senior Lecturer Dr. Prabha Manuratne moderated the discussion. 

History and sudden awakening of Sri Lanka's street art were discussed while concerning on the relevant cultural and political factors behind the occurrence. Moreover, connection between the street art trend among youth and the current political situation were discussed. 

Prageeth Rathnayake along with painters, civil activists and undergraduates were present at the event.
