A training program aimed at enhancing the skills of the University of Kelaniya’s security personnel was successfully conducted by the Staff Development Centre (SDC) on September 4, 2025, at the SDC Auditorium. A total of 30 security staff members attended the program.

The event was honored by the presence of Mr. K. K. K. Dharmathilake, Registrar of the University of Kelaniya, who attended as the Chief Guest. Mr. Namal Bandara, Chief Security Officer, also attended the event.

The program featured Mr. K. M. Rohana Sarath Nandasiri, Sub-Inspector of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, Kiribathgoda Police, as the resource person. His valuable knowledge and practical input made the session both insightful and impactful for all participants.

The program was coordinated by Dr. Chathuri Senarath, Acting Director of the SDC.
