The Staff Development Centre (SDC) of the University of Kelaniya successfully conducted a workshop on the University Grants Commission (UGC) E-Code for staff members of the Academic Establishment Division and the Non-Academic Establishment Division on 31st October 2025 at the SDC Auditorium.

The resource person for the session was Mr. T. L. R. Silva, Former Deputy Registrar of the University of Colombo. With over 25 years of experience in the university administrative system, Mr. Silva shared valuable insights and practical knowledge, making the session both informative and engaging.

A total of 30 non-academic staff members participated in the session, which was designed to enhance their understanding of the UGC E-Code and its practical application in daily administrative work. The program provided an excellent platform for participants to clarify doubts, share experiences, and improve their efficiency in handling work-related matters.

The event was also graced by the presence of Dr. Chathuri Senarath, Acting Director of the Staff Development Centre, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of professional development among university staff. Additionally, the event also witnessed the presence of the staff members of the SDC.
