Brandix and Keells conducted the 3rd Open Day as part of Career Fair UoK 2026 on 18th February 2026 at the Social Sciences Auditorium. The event was organized by the Career Guidance Unit in collaboration with its affiliated student clubs - Rotaract, Leo Club, LED, and Gavel.

The workshop session of the Open Day was conducted by Brandix under the theme ‘Workplace Skills for Future Professionals and Brandix Culture.’ The session was led by Mr Edga Melan, General Manager - Group Engineering at Brandix, together with Mr Mark Amarasena, Academia Engagement - Brandix. 

The occasion was graced by Senior Professor Dilkushi Senaratne, Director of the Career Guidance Unit, University of Kelaniya, along with Mr Viraj Abeysinghe and Mrs Mynoon Perera, Career Counsellors of the University. In addition to the workshop, on-the-spot interviews were conducted by industry professionals from Brandix and Keells, with over 200 students actively participating. The Open Day successfully provided undergraduates with valuable internship opportunities at both companies, marking a strong and impactful beginning to Career Fair UoK 2026.
