The inauguration ceremony of Master of Business Programme (MBus) & Master of Professional Accounting Programme (MPA) offered by the Department of Accountancy, Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies, University of Kelaniya was held on the 18 th of July 2020 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies.

The ceremony was held with the objective of introducing the course units and the academic staff to newly enrolled students. The keynote speech of the ceremony was delivered by Mr. Hasitha Premarathna, CEO- Brandix Lanka Ltd. Cadre Chair & Senior Prof. P.S. Wijesinghe, acting Vice-Chancellor, University of Kelaniya participated to the event as the chief guest. Moreover, Prof. Ariyarathna Jayamaha, Dean- Faculty of Graduate Studies, Senior Lecturer Dr. P.N.D. Fernando, Dean- Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies, Senior Lecturer Dr. Kamal Thilakasiri, Head- Department of Accountancy, Senior Lecturer Dr. Ravi Dissanayake, Head- Department of Marketing Management, Senior Lecturer Dr. Mudith Sujeewa, Academic Coordinator- MBus, Senior Lecturer Dilini Aruppala, Technical Coordinator- MBus, Senior Lecturer Dr. Amila Munasinghe, Coordinator- MPA & academic staff members of Department of Accountancy also attended the event.
