The Inauguration Ceremony of the Master of Business Studies (MBS) 3^rd batch was held on the 1^st of January 2023 at the A. T. H. Sunil Shantha Memorial Auditorium of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies.

Department of Commerce and Financial Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya organized the inauguration ceremony to officially welcome the new learning partners to the MBS degree program and make them aware of the life at UOK.

Ms. Thrimuthi Danushka (Group Manager – Human Resource, Ideal Group) a student of the 1^st batch of the Master of Business Studies (MBS) delivered the speeches welcoming new students.

Dr. Narada Fernando, Dean - Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, participated as the Chief Guest of the event, while Senior Prof. N. A. K. P. J. Seneviratne, Dean - Faculty of Graduate Studies participated as the Guest of Honor. Further, Dr. M. M. M. Shamil, Head of the Department of Commerce and Financial Management, Dr. Erandi Abeywardana, Coordinator of the Master of Business Studies, other academic staff members, and the new students of the Master of Business Studies (MBS) participated in this ceremony.
