The inauguration ceremony of the 10^th intake of the Diploma in Marketing offered by the Department of Marketing Management of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya was held on the 08^th of June 2019 at the faculty boardroom.

The keynote address of the event was delivered by Mr. Kumara Galhena, Senior Manager, Group Talent Management, Brandix Lanka Ltd on the importance of pursuing educational qualifications along with the professional experience.

Present at the occasion were Senior Lecturer Dr. P.N.D. Fernando, Dean- Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Senior Lecturer Dr. Ajith Mendis, Head- Department of Marketing Management, Senior Lecturer B.S.S.U. Bandara, Coordinator of the programme, academic staff members of the department and newly enrolled students.
