Felicitation Ceremony to appreciate the great service rendered by prominent Senior Prof. Ven. Kahapola Sugatharathana Thero, Department of Sanskrit & Eastern Studies, Faculty of Humanities of the University of Kelaniya

was successfully held on the 30^th of September 2020 at the auditorium of Faculty of Social Sciences of the University. At this ceremony, Senior Prof. Ven. Kahapola Sugatharatha Thero was honoured for his contribution to the university, Sanskrit Language, field of Eastern Studies and the entire society during his tenure as an academic staff member of the university.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of Senior Lecturer Sudath Rohana, Dean- Faculty of Humanities, University of Kelaniya.

In addition, the event was graced by Prof. K.B. Jayawardhana, Head- Department of Sanskrit & Eastern Studies, Senior Prof. Lakshman Senevirathna, Prof. Ven. Induragare Dhammarathana Thero, other academic staff members and many undergraduates.
