Senior Lecturer Sudath Senarath was appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities. The appointment letter was handed over to the Dean by the Cadre Chair & Senior Prof. P.S. Wijesinghe, acting Vice- Chancellor on 09^th of June 2020 at Dharmaloka Hall.

Mr. Sudath Senarath assumed duties as the new Dean of The Faculty of Humanities on 10^th of June 2020. He was the Head of the Department of Linguistics prior to his appointment as the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities.

Mr. Sudath Senarath graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Special Degree from the University of Kelaniya in 1995, later he obtained Master of Philosophy from the University of Kelaniya in 2003'
