The Inauguration Ceremony of the Certificate Course in Astrology, Vaastu Vidya, and Advanced Certificate in Yoga Philosophy offered by the Department of Sanskrit & Eastern Studies, of the University of Kelaniya, was successfully held at the K-14 Auditorium, on the 11^th of June 2022.

The event was organized by the Department of Sanskrit & Eastern Studies with the aim of introducing the course and welcoming the students.

The event was graced by Senior Lecturer Sudath Senarath, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities as the chief guest, and keynote speakers of the event; Ven. Senior Prof. Induragare Dhammarathana and Dr. Nemsiri Jayathilake, Former Senior Lecturer of the Open University of Sri Lanka, Dr. K. B. Jayawardhana, the Head of the Department of Sanskrit & Eastern Studies. The other members of the staff and the students who have enrolled for this course also participated in this special occasion.
