The 04^th International Conference on Sanskrit & Eastern Studies organized by the Department OF Sanskrit & Eastern Studies,

Faculty of Humanities, University of Kelaniya was held on 23^rd of December, 2019 at the Auditorium of Faculty of Social Sciences. Prof. D.M. Semasinghe, Vice-Chancellor, University of Kelaniya was the chief guest at the occasion while, Prof. Shrinivasa Varakhedi, Vice-Chancellor of Kavikulaguru Kalidas University, Nagpur, India too graced the event as an honorable guest.

The conference was mainly focused at enhancing Research on Sanskrit Studies as well as to make a platform to present new research on Sanskrit and Eastern Studies on sustainable development.
