The International Conference on the Humanities- ICH organized by the Faculty of Humanities was held on the 14th and 15th of March 2019 at Dharmaloka Hall, University of Kelaniya. The conference is organized annually with the objective of promoting quality research in the Humanities discipline.
The inauguration ceremony of the 28th batch of the Diploma in Pali and Buddhist Studies was held on the 05th of February 2019 at Kotahena Pragnakeerthi Memorial Hall.
“Upanetha” Photography & Film Exhibition: The “Upanetha” Photography & Film Exhibition annually organized by the Drama & Theatre and Image Arts Unit, Department of Fine Arts, University of Kelaniya was held on the 01st and 02nd of February 2019 at Namel Malini Punchi Theatre, Colombo. A variety of photographs, short films and documentary films were exhibited and a discussion on films was also conducted at the event.
SAARC Exhibition of Paintings jointly organized by the Center for Heritage Studies, University of Kelaniya and Visual Arts & Design and Performing Arts Unit, Department of Fine Arts, University of Kelaniya was held on the 22nd of January 2019 at Senake Bandaranayake Building, University of Kelaniya.
