The certificate awarding ceremony of the foundation program for the Bachelor of Science honors in Sports Science degree program was held on the 22^nd of July 2022 at the indoor stadium of the University of Kelaniya.

Certificates were awarded to the students who successfully completed the program. The ceremony was graced by the chief guest, Senior Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, Vice Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, Senior Prof. Sudath R D Kalingamudali, Dean, Faculty of Science, Dr. WTMAPK Wanninayake, Head of the Sports and Exercise Science Unit, Academic staff members, and staff members of the Department of Physical Education.
