Alumni Association of the Faculty of Science hosted the first event of the year by donating an electric wheelchair to one of the first-year students in the biological sciences stream.

The donation was fully sponsored by one of the Vice Presidents of the Alumni Association, Mr Kolitha Gunaratna and his wife on behalf of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Science.

The event was held on 31 August 2022 at 0830hrs at the Main Lobby of the Faculty of Science in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, Senior Professor Nilanthi De Silva, the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Senior Professor Sudath R D Kalingamudali and the members of the Alumni Association and Academic staff.
