The RCSS has organized a series of discussions fora on research and publications for the early career academics of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

The first forum of the series was held on 26^th April 2022 in the Faculty Board Room.

The resource person was Mr. Tyler Lehere, a Fulbright scholar from Wisconsin University, the USA, who is carrying out a part of his Ph.D. research at the Department of History and the RCSS. Mr. Lehere talked about ‘Initiating Ph.D. Research: Experiences and Constraints’. Professor M. M. Gunatilake, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences was the guest of honor. Several Heads of Departments of the Faculty and Professor Dilma Koggalage, Director, RCSS also took part in the discussion forum.
